Sardinia with Morgane Waquez
La Spigola in Golfo Aranci: a restaurant on a white beach that dives into the crystal-clear sea of the Costa Smeralda. The setting is magnificent. We're almost with our feet in the water. I chose the "Penne Verrigni pomodoro e basilico," and it was excellent.
Anticas Licanzias Bistrò in Olbia: The pasta is fresh and homemade, it was a true delight. Especially the gnocchi, which I highly recommend!
Olbia, one of the four largest cities on the island. There is a beautiful palm-lined promenade, and the shopping street Corso Umberto has many boutiques. You can go shopping or simply stroll through the town to have an ice cream.
And the beautiful little village of San Pantaleo where you can buy creations from local artists and artisans.
I stayed in a small Airbnb on the Costa Esmeralda in the northeast. The place is very calm and peaceful, located next to the beach. There are flowers on every street corner, it's absolutely beautiful. And the best part? The rooftop with a view of the Tavolara and Figarolo islands emerging from the sea right in front of us.
Eating pasta and pizza, of course! But above all, taking to the road and strolling along the Costa Esmeralda to admire the blue of the water and the flowery villages. It's stunning to see.
My favourite beaches in the north of the island:
Spiaggia del Principe
Spiaggia Liscia Ruja
Spiaggia La Pelosa
