After a day in the water, dry in the shade only. When washing your Shona Joy swimwear pieces, rinse in cold, fresh water to remove salt or chlorine — this helps maximise your swimwear's longevity. If machine washing is preferred, wash your pieces at 30°C while using mild laundry detergent. Do not apply fabric softeners or bleach, and do not wring-dry, tumble dry, iron, or dry-clean.

When washing swimwear, we recommend using the GUPPYFRIEND® Washing Bag — a laundry washing bag designed to capture the microplastics present in synthetic garments when washing by hand or machine.
