Join friend of the brand Laurie Ferraro on her recent trip to Paris, and explore the “City of Light” (La Ville Lumière). Renowned for its rich history, food, art, culture, and fashion, Laurie explores each of these elements and provides us the insider guide.
Laurie’s personal style intertwined with the Parisian backdrop resonates deeply with our latest additions to our La Lune and Le Long de la Côte collection; picturesque and evocative.

My favourite two neighbourhoods to stay in are Le Marais and Pigalle.
Le Marais is the quintessential Paris we romanticise and it never disappoints. There are so many great cafes, wine bars, the perfect place to find a terassa at a brasserie to perch yourself at with a wine and people watch. My favourite Airbnbs to stay at in Le Marais are here and here.
Le Pigalle is a little more hipster and full of action. The perfect place to get involved with the night life and immerse yourself in edgy culture. My favourite two hotels in the area are Le Pigalle Hotel and Hotel Hoy.

These are my favourite places to eat and drink in Paris that I would highly recommend adding to your list if you are travelling to Paris:
Coffee and treats:
- KB Coffee Roasters – favourite coffee
- Terres De Café – second fave coffee, but they are petite!
- Mamiche – best boulangerie
- Babka Zana – best babka
Lunch and Dinner
- Le Progrès Marais – scenic brasserie in Le Marais
- La Palette – scenic brasserie in Saint Germain
- Prescription Cocktail Club – very fun bar in Saint Germain
- Dirty Dick – great cocktail bar
- Pink Mamma – part of the Big Mamma group. Great vibes, even better pizza!
- Le Chardonnay – the best truffle croque monsieur
- Chez Julien – has a classic Parisian feel (they filmed a scene of Emily in Paris here)!
- There is a square in Le Marais on Rue du Bourge Tibourg that doesn’t necessarily have standout restaurants but it is always busy and always a good time. Great date spot.
Cocktails:
- Prescription Cocktail Club – very fun bar in Saint Germain
- Dirty Dick – great cocktail bar
- Lolo cave à manger – organic wine bar and restaurant

My favourite things to do in Paris:
- An early morning walk along the Seine.
- Go shopping in Le Marais.
- The ballet at the Palais Garnier.
- The Catacombs of Paris.
- Walk through Passage des Panoramas, grab some food, a drink, and hit a bookstore.
- But above all else, my favourite thing to do in Paris is grab a seat on a terassa, have a wine and watch the world (and the outfits) go by!

French style is anchored in classic pieces above trends. During the day we see a lot of chic functional clothing, where in the evenings, while still being relatively understated, Parisians dress to impress. So whenever I’m in Paris my packing essentials include:
Day Time
- A classic trench
- Levi’s
- White tees
- Pair of sneakers
- Pair of loafers
- A good knit
- Structured blazer
- Relaxed black dress pant
Night
- A classic maxi, slip-dress, preferably low back, for events like the Ballet or Opera
- I love a corset paired with a chic pant
- A little black dress
- Knee high boot
- Simple pointed toe heel
- Sheer black tights
